Fully Vaccinated and Ready to Go!

Greetings Photon Warriors,

First off, I hope everyone is doing well. A lot has been going on behind the scenes here at C5D Productions, so I wanted to give you all a quick update.

Now that we are fully vaccinated and travel restrictions are starting to ease, it’s time to hit the road again. I hope that in the next few weeks I will be able to post filming dates and locations for our next batch on Photon interviews. Right now it looks like our first two stops will be Baltimore/Laurel, Maryland and Kenilworth, New Jersey. After those filming dates are complete, we will evaluate the budget to determine how many more locations we can visit.

Don’t fret if we don’t make it to your home town! We will also be starting our Zoom interviews soon (likely after we decide where else we can visit), and want to give everyone who wants to contribute to the project the opportunity to do so.

If you don’t follow the madness that is David (Mandarr) Stay’s Photon Disco Hour streaming program, then you missed our very own producer Laurie Jean Britton’s appearance on the show. Thankfully, here’s a link to take a look at it for yourself. Laurie talks all things Photon with David, and even gets a moment to plug our film (plus you get a look at her massive Photon memorabilia collection).

We’ve also started adding members to the production and post-production teams. We are still looking for some more dedicated volunteers who have video production, marketing, or animation skills, so please reach out via the contact page if you’d like to join the team.

Additionally, if you have archival footage from Photon in any of its iterations, please consider allowing us to use it for the film. Reach out via the contact link if you’d like to share. Of course, you will be credited for any contributions you make!

Thank you all again for your continued support! We are still on track and can’t wait to get back to making what I hope will be an amazing look at the game we love.
