So incredibly happy to announce that we are back to filming! This time, our new, intrepid 2nd Unit DP, Lia Lee, had a chance to go to Laser Tag of Metairie in Louisiana, to shoot some amazing footage of their incredible recreation of the original Photon Alpha Field.

I’ve only had a chance to view the location in still pictures, so I’m just as excited as anyone to see the footage, and thrilled that we were able to send a camera there to film it in all its glory. There’s still a chance we might send a full crew there to capture interviews and such, but for now, I’m thrilled we got the opportunity to film there. Thank you to Davor and everyone at Laser Tag of Metairie for welcoming us, and perhaps we will put together a preview for all to see in the coming days.
In other news, we look to begin filming interviews in Baltimore towards the end of June or early July. Keep an eye on this page for more information. We are happy to interview anyone who played, worked, or loved Photon. After Baltimore, it’s off to Kenilworth, New Jersey. From there, we will reevaluate the budget and see what other locations will be in range for us to conduct interviews. Of course, if we can’t make it to your area, there will be opportunities for Zoom interviews; we want everyone who hold Photon near and dear to their heart to have an opportunity to speak on it.
We’ve also been getting request for information about additional fundraisers. It’s something we are looking into. I recently took down the fundraising page on this blog because of technical issues with the provider, but am looking into new solutions, and hope to have something online soon. In the meantime, you can help by spreading the word and getting it as much attention as you can. I think we’re ready to start talking to media about the project, so feel free to pass along our info to anyone you think might be interested in covering it.
Thanks again everyone for your continued support!
